## ABOUT SKÅL

Skål International is the world's largest professional tourism network, founded in 1934, with members in 90+ countries. It connects tourism industry executives including hotel managers, travel agents, tour operators, airline executives, and tourism board professionals. The name "Skål" comes from the Scandinavian toast meaning "cheers."

Swiss membership: 650+ professionals across 12 regional clubs, from Geneva to the Grisons, from Bern to Lugano.

## NATIONAL COMMITTEE

The National Committee (Comitato Nazionale / Nationalkomitee / Comité National) is the governing body of Skål International Switzerland. Members are elected every two years at the annual General Assembly of delegates. The General Assembly takes place every year; the committee election occurs every two years within that assembly.

### Event modal
Clicking any event opens a detail modal (bottom sheet on mobile, centred on desktop) showing: date/time, venue, description (rendered HTML), contact, registration button, Google Maps link, Google Calendar link, ICS download.

### Event types (ente field)
Convivio, AG (Generalversammlung), Evento SKAL Nazionale / Nationaler Anlass / Événement national / National Event, Lunch, and other club-specific types.
